OLD AFGHAN HAIR ORNAMENT
This is a very old Afghani hair ornament also known as an 'ilaqah. It is older than most seen, c. 1900-1925. At one time the centerpiece may have been an earring or nose ring, and later made into a hair ornament. There are a few tiny red glass stones missing, but you really can't tell. For its age, it is in remarkable condition. Its imperfections only reflect its age and authenticity.
This is a great chance to own an outstanding old piece. This piece has been in my collection for 17 years.
