ARABIAN DANCER - LITHOGRAPH OR PHOTOGRAVURE
A very crisp depiction of a belly dancer and musicians entertaining some
customers, one of whom claps along with the rhythm. The dancer dances on
a blanket as she plays her finger cymbals. The print almost looks like a
Gerome, but I am not sure - could be another artist.
Size: The whole paper is: 11 5/8 x 17 inches. There is a small bend on the
white framing -does not affect the print.
The print is 5 5/8 x 9 1/8 inches.
Possibly French, C. mid to late 1800's.
